Told from the city of the future.

1001 is a cinematic universe built on the Arabian Nights — the one mythology the whole world already knows, brought home to the region that created it. Not an adaptation of the past: the Nights awake today, in the streets, souks and skyline of Dubai.
A full 30-episode family series — one tale per night across the holy month. The after-iftar ritual: the whole family, every evening, waiting for the next story. Appointment viewing, engineered for the season.
Jinn, flying carpets, sandstorm giants, a book older than the city — a living mythology where the ancient world and modern Dubai share one sky.
Cinematic AI production at a pace and scale traditional animation cannot match — built and operated from Dubai, as a Dubai-based creative industry.
This is not a paper concept. The classical tales — the original Nights, retold — are publishing now on the SAGAS channel, produced end-to-end with the same AI pipeline. The audience answered within months.
The classical episodes prove the world. The 30-night season made for Dubai is the crossover — the jinn, the carpets and the Book arriving into the modern city. The team behind the channel is in place, ready to expand for the task.

The origin film. A construction crew drilling at the edge of the desert strikes something no map remembers.
Beneath the sands of Al Marmoom, a chest bound in old iron — and inside it, a book older than the city itself. When it opens, the Nights wake up.
Four children from four corners of Dubai are swept onto a flying carpet — over the Creek and its dhows, through the old wind-tower lanes, up the tallest tower on Earth — while a sandstorm giant rises on the dunes, facing the skyline.
In a future institute glowing with calligraphy, the city's finest minds discover the one thing their instruments cannot model: the giant is not attacking. It is a story, longing to be told. And the children answer — "Then we tell it."
Every tale carries the values the region wants its children to grow up inside — never preached, always lived by the characters on screen.
"Dubai. The city that builds the future. Let it carry the oldest stories there." — Found in Dubai

Everything on this page is a concept — proof of the world, the tone and the craft. The scripts themselves are deliberately still open: the full 30-night season is to be developed in collaboration with Dubai's own representatives, so the city is written into the mythology, not painted onto it.
The Creek, the souks, the tallest tower on Earth — each episode can carry a landmark or district at the heart of its tale, chosen together with our Dubai partners.
Neighbourhoods, traditions and communities become story engines — the abra captain, the spice trader, the crane operator who saw something impossible.
Partners aren't advertised around the tales — they're woven into them, natively, at script level. A canvas of a thousand nights, open for co-creation.

A complete season, built for nightly screening across the holy month — looking for the one home in Dubai worthy of carrying it.
